This program was inspired by my father, who worked hard to support my education in Sudan. After building a career in the United States, I created Aysik to help others gain the skills needed to find good jobs and support their families.

Aysik, Inc. was founded in Beverly Hills, California in 2013 and began by providing network design, architecture, and implementation services for large-scale IP networks and data center environments for DirecTV in the El Segundo area of Los Angeles.
Over the years, Aysik engineers have worked on projects involving large content and cloud providers, as well as enterprise customers, including Amazon, DirecTV, Lennar, and others. Through this work, Aysik developed a training program designed to prepare engineers to work in production networking environments.
Many of the company's engagements have involved large-scale network design and deployment projects. These projects typically began with network infrastructure assessments, followed by platform evaluation and recommendations when necessary. From there, Aysik engineers developed new network designs and supported the implementation and deployment of the new infrastructure until it was operational.
The company was founded by a senior network engineer with experience supporting large-scale production networks. His background includes four years at Level(3) Communications, one of the world's largest internet service providers, where he was dedicated to supporting some of the company's top customers—including Google, Yahoo, and MSN—and later worked on internet backbone architectures as part of a team that included some of the industry's best network engineers. The experience provided a rich environment for developing deep expertise in routing and switching at internet scale.
He later spent seven years at Cisco Systems. During that time he worked in Cisco's LAN Switching Backbone and Wireless Backbone teams at the company's headquarters in Silicon Valley, which serve as technical leadership and escalation teams supporting Cisco support organizations worldwide. He later supported High-Touch customers—Cisco's largest customers requiring dedicated support and strict service-level agreements—including companies such as Facebook and Yahoo. After his time at Cisco, he founded Aysik and went on to work on consulting assignments involving Amazon Web Services and Microsoft while also developing and mentoring other engineers.
